SHAH ALAM, July 31 — The public has been urged to immediately report fire incidents and not to engage in open burning activities in view due of the hot and dry weather the country is currently facing, said Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant director (Operations) Hafisham Mohd Noor.

SHAH ALAM, June 27 — Firefighters are still working to put out the tyre fire at a site in Kampung Sawah near the Carey Island jetty which has been burning for almost 22 hours since yesterday.

SHAH ALAM, Feb 26 — A total of 994 cases of open burning involving an area of 8,140 hectares was recorded by the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) of Selangor from January until yesterday.
